![]() Hellblade takes Viking culture and graphics to a whole other level. It’s like the girls locker room just took it up to the next level at half time □ What makes this even more amazing is the fact that this video is all real time, in-game rendered footage of Senua, creating one incredibly intimidating war cry that sends shivers down your spine. This is a must watch with a great sound system or headphones to truly experience the great music from a band called Heilung and truly immerse yourself in being right in Senua’s face before you go to battle. I have watched this trailer so many times now that I’ve lost count already. Ninja Theory stated that they will be releasing Hellblade 2 using the next gen Unreal 5 Engine, (which is set to have its full release in late 2021), so we are most likely looking at Hellblade 2 releasing together with it, or slightly after, in early 2022. Senua continues her saga in Hellblade 2, set to release sometime in 2021/2022, teased by one of the most intense trailers I’ve ever seen. Sony), so it will most likely be seeing plenty of patches for Halo Infinite for the foreseeable future, after it’s initial launch. I doubt Microsoft will delay the launch of Halo Infinite, as this will make them look very unorganized and weak compared to their competition, (i.e. ![]() The most worrying part is that the launch is only 3-4 months away, so in reality there is no time for them to strip and redo/upgrade the graphics for next gen in that time frame, so it will launch as we saw in the demo above, despite how many fans want it to be otherwise. Technology and hardware advancements start to surpass them, as they find themselves stuck with a game that should be from the past. This is a common side effect of games that stay in development for such long periods. Very unfortunate, as it seems 343 Industries have been developing this game for so long that all their code backbone is based on current gen hardware and not the next gen hardware. While many online fans of the Halo series have defended it in saying that “it’s just a demo, the final version will be better”, this doesn’t take away from the fact that this is the in-game footage of a game that has taken 5 years to make, with the highest spending budget of any game before it, of $500 million. ![]() Many of the games in this list are far superior as well, especially Flight Simulator 2020, which is jaw droppingly stunning. Unfortunately the developers of Halo Infinite, 343 Industries, dropped the ball, by delivering an opening showpiece demo of Halo Infinite (seen above), with graphics that were extremely flat, bland and simply sub-par for next gen.Įven today’s current gen games such as Red Dead Redemption 2, Assassin’s Creed, Gears 5 and Zero Horizon Dawn, are leaps and bounds graphically better than the Halo Infinite demo. Halo Infinite is Microsoft’s poster child, (aka the Golden Goose) for their event launch and the game that was supposed to blow everyone’s minds, by showing just how great next gen consoles would be, thanks to all the new, custom hardware and software configurations inside their magic black box. I have listed them in order of release date, starting with the games exclusive to XBox Series X and PC, which you won’t find on the PS5.īelow this you can see all the games coming next year in 2021, followed by all the games coming on day 1, as well as everything else in 2020, including some already released games, re-optimized for the XBox Series X. With so many games being announced, it can be very difficult to keep up, so I have created this list of the Best XBox Series X Games, coming to XBox Game Pass for PC, Console and Ultimate (PC+Console). There have however been a massive amount of new game announcements as we lead up to the launches, especially from Microsoft and their XBox Game Pass, giving you day 1 access to the latest games as they release, if you are part of their subscription service. While there has been no solid confirmation on the release dates of either the XBox Series X or Playstation 5, we do know that they will be launching this Holiday season, making it either November or December.
